EditProfessions
The following Profession are considered to be "core" to the Realm of Gothica.
May I suggest: vampire (or dark) Hunters, daemonologists, alchemists, frankenstein-type scientist/necromancers
5lippers, 2009/09/08 15:10Sure; something like:
- Hunters: general purpose killer of something template; define the target upon taking the template
- Necromantists
- Daemonologists
- Alchemists
- Arcanotech: Magic tech / gadgetry.
- Purifiers: vaguely defined holy roller types who damage / counter dark forces via faith / strength of will
- Unclean: a broad concept of those who have gained power by selling out to some evil / dark power
- Vessel: some sort of class that allows spirits/daemons to temporarily possess them, granting them certain abilities in exchange. Of course, there’s always a risk: you might loose control, be unable to banish the spirit or end up getting possessed by something you weren’t intending
Killer Shrike, 2009/09/08 16:05That's looking like a nice lineup of dubious characters (I added 'Vessel')! I quite like the fact that they're all a little bit 'dodgy' - even the Purifiers - who you could easily imagine as unforgiving inquisitor types who terrorise the normal population
5lippers, 2009/09/09 14:05This screams for shapeshifters of some type. Or would that fall into races?
ghostwolf, 2009/09/09 07:47Could be both. The Skinshifter concept of Occultism comes to mind.
Killer Shrike, 2009/09/09 20:41Yah, that's kind of what I was thinking of.
